It Really Works
Restore hygiene and sound clarity to your AirPods using an Apple-recommended cleaning method.
Normal cleaning can't reach inside the mesh. ClearPods does.
Earwax is oil-based. It seeps into the fine acoustic mesh inside your AirPods and hardens there. You can't see it. You can't wipe it away.
ClearPods uses one active ingredient. It is the only thing that actually dissolves earwax from inside a speaker mesh.
Active ingredient
PEG-6
Caprylic / Capric Glycerides
Oil end
Grabs and binds to the earwax
Water end
Rinses everything clean away
Earwax is mostly oil
Cholesterol, fatty acids, sebum. Oily by nature. Water slides right off it.
Oil and water don't mix
You can't rinse away oil with water. You need something that bridges the two.
PEG-6 is the bridge
One end grabs the wax. The other bonds with water. Wax lifts clean out of the mesh.
Distilled water leaves nothing
Tap water leaves mineral deposits when dry. Distilled has none. It just rinses clean.
Alcohol corrodes the mesh
Dissolves the adhesive and corrodes the metal inside. Not a fix. It causes permanent damage.
